Then she showed me her work in portrait drawing. That day we were discussing how hair reflects light. I told her the development from figures without faces to strictly portraits was quite interesting and that she was developing a strong portfolio. Her response was that the only portfolio she was interested in was a stock portfolio. She occasionally sends me a drawing.
